OPERATION:

The TL Series timer is designed for coin vending operators. It can be set to begin operation with a predetermined number of coins (from 1 to 8), and then continue operating with an almost unlimited number of coins. Coins can be added during operation, allowing for extended time. The amount of time for each coin deposited can be set for as little as 1 second, or a range of minutes or hours. The two coin switch inputs, in a factory preset ratio, can count two different coin or currency values. The warning circuit can notify the user that time is elapsing, allowing the user to deposit more coins. An optional non-volatile memory is available that will retain the time remaining in the event of a power loss. The solid state output can control devices such as motors, pumps, compressors, valves, lighting and many other vending applications, as well as contactors for heavier loads.

SPECIFICATIONS:

INPUTS:	Available operating voltages: 12VDC, 24VAC, 120VAC, 240VAC, 15%, Frequency: 50/60 Hz. Inputs for one mechanical switch (2564A) or two mechanical switches (2564B) that count on closure for primary coin value, and secondary coin value. 1/4" Male fast-on terminals. Screw type terminal strips are also available.
OUTPUTS:	Timing Output: solid state SPST NO, 1 amp steady state, 10 amp inrush. Warning Output: solid state SPST NO, 1 amp steady state, 10 amp inrush. 1/4" male fast-on terminals.
TIMING:	Adjustable by 5 positions of a DIP switch in factory preset increments. For instance, a 30 second step can be set from 30 seconds to 16 minutes (per coin); a 1 minute step can be set from 1 minute to 31 minutes (per coin). Adjustable expiring time warning for last 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds. Repeat accuracy: 1% under fixed conditions.
PROTECTION:	Transient protected.
MECHANICAL:	Encapsulated in 3.125" x 2.5" x 1" ABS plastic box. Mounting is with 2 holes for #8 screws, 2.75" on center.
