Polytron manufactures timers for a wide variety of applications. Many functions are available such as Single-Shot, Delay-On-Make (On Delay), Delay-On-Break (Off Delay), Repeating (Cycling), or Interval. Timers can be single channel or multi-channel to time more than one load.

Timers may be very simple, or have more complex functions, controlling motors, solenoids, lights, switches, valves, contactors, or other electrical devices. Timers can start, stop, ramp up & down, and/or control a sequence of events. They may be factory preset, or have built in adjustments, LED indicators, digital displays or alarm features. They may be encapsulated for environmental protection or "bare board" for integration into your assembly.

Polytron can manufacture a timer for your specific OEM application. A dedicated timer/control may prove to be more cost efficient than an off-the-shelf multifunction timer that has unneeded features. Polytron can supply quantities as needed by the OEM on a timely basis and can maintain an inventory on our shelf if needed for emergency supply. In most cases, we can supply service part replacements for years after the original run.

Having Polytron manufacture your timer is very easy. We would be happy to build to your design or you can have our engineering team design for you. Many times we simply begin with a discussion of your requirements. We might have questions such as:

	What are we timing? What is the load? What kind of current are we working with? What are the time sequences? What do you want it to do? Do you have physical requirements such as size and shape? Have you had any problems?       And of course:     How many do you need? When do you need them?
