The two-digit display for temperature has two push buttons for adjusting the temperature set point. When the buttons are pushed, the "Set" temperature is displayed and the set point can be adjusted. Once the desired temperature is set and the buttons are not pushed, the display reverts to show the ambient temperature. There are also push buttons to select "Heat", "Cool", or "Off", and push buttons to select fan speed. There are LED's to indicate "Cool", "Heat" and each fan speed.

The controller has relay outputs so that the loads can be driven directly without the need for an additional relay board. Each fan speed has a plug-in replaceable 40 Amp relay. There are also two 10 Amp relay outputs for lighter loads, one for cooling and one for heating. There is a 2' long probe attached that senses ambient temperature. Connections are made through an eight-pin connector that may be plugged directly into a wiring harness.
