The Versa Machinery Model LC-2000 is a universal length control system, with built in batch control. It can be used to measure a wide variety of materials, and activate a device to mark, label, or cut the product. It will operate with a wide range of encoders and measuring wheel sizes to achieve whatever level of accuracy is needed for direct length measurement, or it can operate in a Time-Based mode. The LC-2000 can display all functions in either the English or Metric measurement system.

The digital display is intuitive and easy to use. The display can be switched to show the Length, Cutting Rate (cuts/min.), Batch Set Point, current Batch Count, or Line Speed. The internal batch control system allows the operator to preset a batch quantity and repeat the batch over and over again, either automatically or at the press of a button. The system can be wired to stop the motion of the material feeder at the completion of each batch.
